HIFU utilizes focused ultrasound waves that penetrate deep into the skin layers.
The ultrasound energy generates heat at precise depths in the skin (typically around 1.5 to 4.5 mm) where collagen fibers and superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS) layer of skin.
SMAS A two-layer structure of collagen, elastin, and facial muscles that supports the skin elasticity and structure. This thermal effect stimulates the body’s natural healing response. The heat causes micro-injuries to the tissue, prompting the body to produce new collagen. Collagen is a protein that helps maintain skin elasticity and firmness. Over time, this process leads to tighter, natural lifted skin.
It is considered a safe and effective option for those seeking to enhance their facial contours without the downtime associated with surgical procedures.
Face lifting, tightening & Contouring
The technology targets specific areas such as the jawline, cheeks, neck, stubborn fats underneath the chin, decoletté and brow, providing precise lifting tightening and contouring effects.
Results:
While some effects such as tightening, and minimal lift can be seen immediately after treatment, the best results usually develop over 2 to 3 months as collagen continues to build. Results can last up to a year or longer, depending on individual factors.
What to expect during treatment:
Some people may experience a momentarily mild tingling, warming, or prickly sensation, or feel like tiny electric pulses. Others may report mild discomfort or pain, especially if they have sensitive skin or are prone to swelling. To help with discomfort, we apply topical numbing cream prior your treatment.
Downtime:
Patients can typically resume normal activities immediately after the treatment. However, some clients with sensitive skin may experience some mild redness which will gradually resolves within 24- hours whilst sensitivity, tingling sensation will gradually subside within 72 hours.
Duration: 60 mins.
For maximum results, the suggested number of treatments is 1-2 times per year.
Treatment Intervals: Every 6-12 months.
